Response of El Niño Events to Higher CO2 Forcing: Role of Nonlinearity

Abstract
The Asian region is an area of active economical and human activities, that leads to a large emission of air. I like to introduce a recent effort to develop a seamless transport modeling system for atmospheric materials including air pollutants in the Research Program on Climate Change Adaptation (RECCA), two transport models, and with their three computational grid systems, i.e. quasi homogeneous grids, stretched grids and diamond grids. A local ensemble transform Kalman filter/smoother with this modeling system was successfully applied to assimilate data of the atmospheric constituents.
